New IP address for ShoutCAST Server 0a1

All DNS settings for the control panels have now been updated. If you login to your Cpanel you will be connecting to the new server.

The new IP address of the server is 83.170.102.233

Please login to your control panel and re-configure your server. Go to the configuration page and update the IP address to the new one, Please copy and paste from this email the IP so you dont make a mistake. Also click on the configure stats link and change the IP address in that section as well.

You will then need to stop your server and start it again.

If you come across any problems at all in using your server please log a support ticket.

Account migration

Please not that we are in the process of migrating all uk account holders from our US servers over to our new Hostit4u UK servers.

All account holders should have received an email informing them of the transmigration, of account between our US servers & our new UK servers.
We have over the last 48 hours been checking all accounts and the data stored for each account on the servers. We have found over 200 accounts that have not had any activity over the last 3 months. We would appreciate it if you could let us know, if you no longer need the account so we can remove it from the server be for we start the migration. As there is now point in us moving accounts that are no longer used.
This will not take you long to check to see if your account is still active, and then email us to ask for it to be removed. contact ( sales@hostit4u.co.uk )

Hostit4u servers Issue

Sorry for the down time today and late last night.

We had a problem with the blade  data center we managed to get it back online late last night but then found that it had made 6 servers shut down upon re booting them 3 decided not to start up We have now  repaired the faults on Servers 1, 4 & 11

All servers as of  18:10pm were back online. and all problems have been resolved

Sorry for any problems caused.
We could not let you know because your information blog for the Hostit4u network was one of the servsers the was off line.

Hostit4u severver issue

Just to update you all regarding the Hi4u-server-11 on our USA net work.

If you’re hosting as been down for the last few hours it is because we have had a problem with the PSU on the server. This PSU has now been changed and a full service as now been resumed.

If you are still having any problems accessing your accounts please submit a support ticket and we will look in to it for you.

Billing System & Web Site Changes.

To All Customers.

Due to some big changes that are currently in progress with DamUK (our web sites Hostit4u.co.uk & Prohost4u.co.uk) we will be changed the way payments come to us, and the way you can send them. We are in the process setting up a new payment/account management system (UKorders.com). This is so we can keep all our customers and server management in one place.

We will still be accept PayPal and card payments as our preferred method of payment. Our PayPal address will be changing to paypal@ukorders.com, If you currently have a subscription setup this will be canceled over the next week or so. Then once our new system is online, you can login to your client area and make your next payment, you will then be able to create a new subscription to our new address.

Please if you find that your subscription as been canceled do not send manual payments to our paypal address as our system will not automatically update and your payment will not be marked as paid. If you have an outstanding invoice we will contact you, so do not worry.

If you pay using a Credit Card or Debit card again this will be changing, when you login to your client area in the new system to pay any outstanding invoice you have, it will take you to a new screen allowing you to save cards for future faster processing. It will also allow you to change any card details using our system. We also will be allowing our system to make automatic payments from your card shortly; you will have the option for this.

Also coming soon if you have trouble making a payment online with your card you will soon be able to call us and make the payment over the phone. Again this is not available yet so please do not call. You will be notified when this is available.

Nochex payments. We are looking at stopping payments via Nochex, we will keep you informed and if you make your payment to us via Nochex, you will receive an individual email over the next week or so.

Also our Hostit4u web site should be back online soon. We are still in the process of moving all account over to our Uk servers.

Our new web site  Prohost4u should be online at the end of the month. All Prohost4u servers are in the UK.

Nochex Payments

We are working to resolve this problem but if you have an outstanding bill that needs paying and you are not able to do this because of this issue please get in contact with us straight away by submitting a support ticket.

Dear All,

Over the past few days we have been having alot of issues with customers abusing our mail servers. Please note our mail servers are NOT for spamming.

Any account found from this email onwards to be abusing our mail servers in any way will be removed from our servers for good and never be allowed back on our system.

If you are a reseller please inform all of your end users a.s.a.p about this message.

If you find you are getting returnd mail from “post master” but you have not sent any emails out to the address you are getting the returnd mail from. Then please check the files on your server for pushing scripts.

Please check the files on your server. to make sure the files that are on the server are the ones you have put there.
